I am inspired by the power of engineering + design

Hi, everyone! My name is Aya Suzuki, and I am an MIT 2018 majoring in Mechanical Engineering and minoring in Design. My passions include building things, drawing, and dancing with my contemporary dance group, MIT Fixation!

Through my experiences living in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, the Bay Area, and now Boston, I have noticed that one universal discipline transcends all cultures and all people – design. Good design engages and connects people regardless of their cultural background.
